Design Delight

Graphic design is the art of visual communication. It’s the way information is presented visually to make it easier for people to understand. In graphic design, we use typography (the arrangement of type), color, space, line, shape, texture, and photography.  This can be in the form of posters, website banners, social media posts, etc.  Applying layout techniques, typography and pictures to meet your specific needs to optimise your customer experience.

Layout

Layout is one of the first things people notice about a design. If you have a good layout, you will be able to tell immediately whether a design is going to work well. If your customers struggle to read it, then they will not want to spend their time reading anything else. One of the best ways to build trust and credibility in your business is by having a visually appealing design.

Typography

Typography is what makes a design stand out from the crowd. It is extremely important to choose the right typeface and font size for your content to make it easier to consume and understand. An example of typography would be using Helvetica Neue Bold as opposed to Arial. Another mistake many designers make is making sure everything is big enough to fit within the page, this is not always the best practice.

Colour

Colours are another very important factor in a successful design. What colours do you use? Do you use a lot of colour schemes? Does your designer know how to create vibrant designs without being distracting? These are just some of the factors that need to be considered before starting to create a design .

Images

Images play an important role in any design. Even if you do not consider yourself creative, you probably notice the way design feels a lot more than you think. Thinking of ways to add images to any design, capturing your customer and drawing them in and making it easy for them to know instantly what they are looking at.
